This move allows us to continue growing with our community and offer a more welcoming, accessible, and efficient experience for everyone who relies on our services.
Our commitment remains the same: supporting individuals and families with dignity, respect, and care. With our new location, we’ll have the space and resources to serve you even better.
What You Need to Know!
- We will open at the new location on Monday, March 23rd, 2026, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
- The services we provide you aren’t changing. In fact, we plan to be able to serve you more safely and efficiently than at this current location.
- There will be no disruption to our services – we will continue to serve you during our move.

- Why are you moving?
- Oakville Fare Share foodbank has proudly served our community since 1987. Our current location is not sufficient to meet our current and future needs.
- Why did you choose this new location?
- After an extensive search, our new facility was chosen as it most appropriately will meet our current and future needs while being cost conscious.
- Will there be any changes that I should know of?
- No, we will still operate as we always have, but we are pleased to share that clients will no longer have to wait outside; we will have a dedicated waiting area INSIDE the new facility.
- When will the new location open?
- The first day for clients at the new location will be Monday, March 23rd, 2026, 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.
- What days & hours will you be open?
- Our opening days and times will not change; we will be open Mondays from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm and Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 6:45 pm
- We are closed on statutory holidays
- Is there parking at the new location?
- Yes, we will have ample parking at the new location
- Is the new location accessible by public transit?
Yes, Fare Share has worked with Oakville Transit to provide additional coverage of bus route times.
