FareShare Food Bank is excited to announce that we will soon be relocating to a new, improved facility in March 2026!

This move allows us to continue growing with our community and offer a more welcoming, accessible, and efficient experience for everyone who relies on our services.

Our commitment remains the same: supporting individuals and families with dignity, respect, and care. With our new location, we’ll have the space and resources to serve you even better.

Please ask our volunteers if you have any questions or concerns.

What You Need to Know!

We are not moving until March 2026. We will continue to operate at this location until then.
The services we provide you aren’t changing. In fact, we plan to be able to serve you more safely and efficiently than at this current location.
There will be no disruption to our services – we will continue to serve you during our move.

The new location address will be:

1097 North Service Road East

starting in March 2026

Why are you moving?
- Oakville Fare Share foodbank has proudly served our community since 1987. Our current location is not sufficient to meet our current and future needs.
Why did you choose this new location?
- After an extensive search, our new facility was chosen as it most appropriately will meet our current and future needs while being cost conscious.
Will there be any changes that I should know of?
- No, we will still operate as we always have, but we are pleased to share that clients will no longer have to wait outside; we will have a dedicated waiting area INSIDE the new facility.
When will the new location open?
- The first day for clients at the new location will be Thursday, March 19^th.
What days & hours will you be open?
- Our opening days and times will not change; we will be open Mondays from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm and Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 6:45 pm
- We are closed on statutory holidays
Is there parking at the new location?
- Yes, we will have ample parking at the new location
Is the new location accessible by public transit?
- Yes, we are working with Oakville Transit to enhance the current transit schedule. More information will be available soon, and we will post it here.
Is the new location accessible for those with disabilities?
- Yes, the new site is accessible
