• Why are you moving?
  • Oakville Fare Share foodbank has proudly served our community since 1987. Our current location is not sufficient to meet our current and future needs.
• Why did you choose this new location?
  • After an extensive search, our new facility was chosen as it most appropriately will meet our current and future needs while being cost conscious.
• Will there be any changes that I should know of?
  • No, we will still operate as we always have, but we are pleased to share that clients will no longer have to wait outside; we will have a dedicated waiting area INSIDE the new facility.
• What days & hours will you be open?
  • Our days and times open do not change. We will be open Mondays from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm and Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 6:45 pm
  • We are closed on statutory holidays
• Is there parking at the new location?
  • Yes, we will have ample parking at the new location
• Is the new location accessible by public transit?

                    Yes, Fare Share has worked with Oakville Transit to provide additional coverage of bus route times.

*** Please identify to Fare Share Food Bank volunteers that you are using the bus so we can help ensure your order is completed on time.

Passes Fare Share Food Bank at ~10:15 am 

Return: Passes Fare Share Food Bank at ~10:45 am  

Arrives Oakville GO Station 10:55 am

Thursdays- Fare Share open hours 2 pm – 6:45 pm.
